RSPCA Bolton Clinic is looking for an enthusiastic, compassionate and experienced Registered Veterinary Nurse (RVN) to join our dedicated charity veterinary team.

❤️ About the Role
We are seeking an experienced RVN with a background in charity veterinary practice who understands the unique challenges and rewards of working within the charity sector.
You will provide high-quality veterinary nursing care to animals whose owners may be experiencing financial difficulties, while also supporting our wider animal welfare work within the local community.
Your role will include:
🐾 Providing excellent nursing care to a high standard.
🐾 Assisting veterinary surgeons and students with consultations, procedures and surgery.
🐾 Anaesthetic monitoring and inpatient care.
🐾 Supporting surgical and dental procedures.
🐾 Maintaining high standards of infection control and clinical hygiene.
🐾 Providing compassionate and professional advice to clients.
🐾 Supporting the wider clinic team with training and the day-to-day running of the practice.
🐾 Promoting responsible pet ownership and animal welfare.
🐾 Working as part of a small, friendly, supportive and dedicated charity team.

We are looking for someone who:
✔ Is a fully qualified and RCVS Registered Veterinary Nurse
✔ Has previous experience working within charity veterinary practice
✔ Has excellent clinical and communication skills
✔ Is compassionate, patient and understanding with both animals and their owners
✔ Can work effectively as part of a busy team
✔ Is organised, reliable and able to work independently when required
✔ Has a genuine passion for animal welfare
✔ Is keen to contribute ideas and help develop our veterinary services
